surfPLR

surfPLR is a software workflow for processing image data obtained in pressure sensitive paint applications. PSP measurement requires high-accuracy image registration between sequential image frames, however displacement and deformation of the physical wind tunnel model reduces registration accuracy. surfPLR reconstructs images with the goal of reducing registration error by tracking natural image features. It can reduce local, nonlinear misregistration automatically, without the need for a virtual 3D models and the associated calibration.
